PIC cable is an In-System Programer/Debugger for PIC and dsPIC microcontrollers. It gives the designer a compact and realiable programming tool to program most PIC microcontrollers through standard 6-pin RJ12 connector. The programmer connects to a PC through a USB interface and draws the necessary power from the computer eliminating the need for an additional power supply. PIC cable can co-operate with microcontrollers supplied with voltages from 2V to 6 V. Such a broad range of supply voltages was achieved through buffering of signals on the ISSP line, additionally enhancing the immunity of the circuit to interference. Thanks to MPLAB ICD2 compatibility it works witch Microchip MPLAB programming environment.
